Adjustments to Canada's Permanent Residency Fees Effective April 30, 2024

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has declared that starting at 9:00 AM Eastern Time on April 30, 2024, it will raise certain fees related to permanent residency (PR).

This increase is aligned with Canada’s Immigrant and Refugee Protection Regulations and is based on the cumulative rise in the Consumer Price Index for Canada as reported by Statistics Canada.

For the period from April 2024 to March 2026, the new fee structure is as follows:

Additionally, those applying as "permit holders" for permanent residency are required to submit individual applications without including family members.
